e.sigma Air Defense Training Systems offer an exhaustive training for Command & Control, Radar Control & Reporting. The systems provide training for all protocols and procedures required for successful education. The software is based on proven components already in use in the Air Defense field, such as situation reports, editors, flight dynamics and algorithms for combat probabilities.

The Air Defense Training Equipment (ALVE - "Ausbildungsausstattung Luftverteidigung Einsatzführungsdienst") meets the challenges of simulating realistic mission conditions and completes the range of mission-oriented training. The complete ALVE training suite includes systems for the training of "Aircraft Controllers" as part of the Operator License program and of "Track Production Officers" preparing for their duties. The system ALVE "Command License" is simulating the stations of a typical command post and permitting the system-neutral, mission-oriented training of mission command personnel for the "Master Controller" and "Weapons Allocator" role.

Range of Application:

  • Provides training for all protocols and procedures required for obtaining the "Aircraft Controller License": Learn how to control fighter jets and how to manage such missions in highly frequented air spaces by using all required data from information and radar systems.

  • Provides training for all protocols and procedures required for obtaining the "Air Surveillance License": The System provides for the education of prospective Track Production Officers all required procedures needed for the creation of an identified air situation within an assigned air space.

  • Provides training for all protocols and procedures required for obtaining the "Command & Control License": The equipment permits a procedure-centered depiction of factors of aerial warfare in its various manifestations. The system achieves this through a realistic education in all necessary command operations for active Air Defense through the various stages of escalation and development.

System Benefits:

  • Information from various weapons, sensor and mission command systems
  • Simulations available for German territory, NATO deployments and missions in multinational coalitions
  • Freely programmable exercises and scenarios
  • Simple generation of exercises and flight paths
  • Mature software modules adjustable to specific customer requirements
  • Use of visualization systems designed to replicate original devices
  • Integration of future weapons systems possible
  • Map topography and radar shadowing integrated into simulation
