Since the operation of modern, complex weapons-systems requires extensive training, their use in real theatre surroundings is often impractical, prohibitive in cost and environmentally unacceptable. A cost effective state-of the arts training solution which addresses these caveats is offered in e.sigma’s line of Simulators. These Training systems allow procedures to be presented in simpler terms, hence easier to understand and free of the risks and dangers found in real mission environments.

e.sigma Combat-Training-Simulators are available in various sizes and complexities, from small Desktop work-stations to large scale system frames, to fully mobile container resident training systems.

All use an open software architecture which enables system expansion at will and networking with other simulators. The leading edge technologies employed in these systems, allow simulation of mission-engagements on the network anytime, day or night, independent of weather conditions.

Field of Deployment:

  • Depending on requirements the systems can be used for training individuals or teams and due to their open architecture design are able to connect in clusters over a network
  • Interactive team training of system operators, combat vehicle drivers and officers
  • Training of Dismounted Operations
  • Training with added subsystems such as ground transponders/sensors and reconnaissance drones

System Benefits:

  • Event dependent Scenario control and multiple groups’ participation
  • Stationary Simulations-centers and mobile Container based set-ups
  • Fully functional Computer Generated (CG) image inventory of vehicle cabins and cockpits
  • PC based multichannel high definition (HD) LCD projection systems
  • Non-linear image mapping for spherical, cylindrical or client specific projection surfaces
  • Photorealistic geo-specific databases
  • Control consoles with integrated practice-scenario design-software
  • All Console Exercise-control functions are in real time, includes Exercise-debriefing playback
  • Motion platforms support up to six degrees of freedom
  • Flexible multichannel communication systems
  • Effective schemes for the evaluation of training and test results
  • Modern multimedia equipped classrooms offer interactive learning and training, along with oral consultation and verbal review of exercises and tests
  • Databases concentrate on latest areas’ of activity
  • Simulation of client defined specific urban area, set at diverse locations
  • Access to extensive exercise related library, hosting about 800 examples
