Multispectral Simulation
Resourced on Project discoveries in the fields of (IR-) optics, optical mechanics, and laser technology e.sigma’s “Research and Technology” department is continually exploring and developing applications based on these described faculties.
Multi-spectrum simulation is resident and used on all e.sigma simulators, where a real-time combined presentation of objects and/or targets in the visible and infrared spectrum range is required. This parallel presentation capability in both spectrum ranges is to date a market position unique to e.sigma.
While presenting the visible-range component using high resolution projectors, e.sigma produces the infrared visualization by employing special lasers. Applying this technology, surfaces of 2000 square meters with sight field of 220° Azimuth und 126° Elevation can be covered.

- Airplanes traveling at Mach1 can be presented
- Exact physical presentations of Flight paths, engine vapor trails etc.
- Realistic visual and infrared range presentations, free of line and flicker art effects
- Dynamic non-linear Image Mapping
- Photorealistic databases hosting typical visual spectrum Earth sceneries: desserts, mountains, coastal regions. Weather impact, yearly seasons and time of day overlays
