e.sigma visualization systems consist of the scenario and image generator modules and a variety of optional projection systems.
Determining which projection system is best suited for any given simulation involves surveying the customer‘s needs and accounting for the way in which the projection will be used during the simulation. For example, various sighting equipment (night vision goggles, thermal imaging equipment, binoculars, targeting scopes, etc.) can be adapted for simulation use by building in small display systems, while a large-scale tower environment requires the use of multi-channel projection systems to provide panoramic 360° sightlines. Head mounted displays are ideal for visualization of Parachute Simulations and are cost-effective solutions for Forward Air Controller training. Detection of the trainee‘s line of sight, recorded during training through modified sighting equipment, is handled by the e.sigma tracking systems.
e.sigma uses proprietary technological know-how to develop and product customer-specific projection systems, such as flight simulators that use round domes as the projection surface based on special e.sigma projector harnesses. Depending on the infrastructural situation, standard projection procedures (front, rear projection) can be used to create optimal solutions for the customer‘s existing space. e.sigma visualization systems are adapted to fit into spaces as total systems that permit unrestricted access for maintenance.
Different visualization options permit a comprehensive optical depiction of all relevant training content and support both trainer and trainees in achieving their training goals in all e.sigma systems.
